A grand felicitation ceremony was held today at Modi World School Wisdom City to honor three of our outstanding sports achievers. Lokesh Gurjar, who won gold medals in both Under 11 Singles and Doubles matches, and Anand Maderna, who secured gold in the Under 13 Doubles category at the Rajasthan State Sub Junior Badminton Championship 2024, were celebrated for their remarkable achievements. Both have qualified to compete in Nationals under BAI, SGFI, and CBSE matches. This marks the first-ever hat-trick in gold in the history of Shekhawati.
Equally outstanding was Happy Kumari, who was selected to play in the prestigious Under 19 Challenger Trophy 2024. Her hard work, dedication, and exceptional cricketing skills have earned her a spot in this elite tournament, making her a role model for aspiring young athletes.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Chairman Dr. Dilip Modi, School Director Shri Akash Modi, Hostel Director Shri Kurdaram Dhinwa, School Principal Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, and Vice Principal Mrs. Saroj Singh, who felicitated the young sports stars. Their coaches, Mr. Ajay Kumar and Mr. Nitesh Kumar, were also recognized for their exceptional guidance. Additionally, the father of Happy Kumari was honored for his support in nurturing her cricket career.
